The basis on which we quote for and carry out work.
1. Who these terms cover
These terms apply to work carried out by Peak Performance Roofing & Property Maintenance, contactable on 07412 809533 and at peak.performance32@gmail.com, for customers across West and North Yorkshire.
2. Quotes and site visits
Site visits for quotes are free. We do not give fixed prices over the phone, because the price depends on what the roof actually needs. A quote is given after the property has been seen and covers the work described in it. Work found once a roof is opened up that could not reasonably have been seen beforehand will be raised with you and priced separately before it is carried out.
3. Roof surveys
A roof survey — a professional inspection for damp and structural issues — is a separate, chargeable service and is not the same as a free quote visit. Full and small surveys are available; call for details of scope and cost.
4. Emergency call-outs
The phone is answered 24 hours and emergency call-outs are available at weekends and out of hours. Emergency call-out is from £250. An emergency attendance is intended to make a property safe and watertight; any permanent repair is quoted separately.
5. Guarantees
All new works — new pitched roofs and new flat roofs — carry a 10-year guarantee. Small repairs and maintenance works are not covered by this guarantee. Manufacturer-backed guarantees are available on some systems, depending on the brand and materials used. Guarantees cover our workmanship and the covered materials; they do not cover storm damage, third-party interference, alterations made by others, or failure of parts of the building outside the scope of the work.
6. Access and site conditions
You agree to provide reasonable access to the property and, where required, to the neighbouring access needed to work safely. Work may be rescheduled where weather makes working at height unsafe; we will tell you as soon as we know.
7. Payment
Payment arrangements vary from job to job and from client to client. Whatever is agreed for your work will be set out and confirmed with you before work starts.
8. Cancellation and complaints
Tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule so materials and labour can be stood down. If something is not right with the work, contact us on 07412 809533 and we will come back and look at it.
9. Website content
